Saúl Gallegos Scholarships

The “Saúl Gallegos Scholarships” promotes youth education and success. Saúl Gallegos, a police officer, died in the line of duty on June 26th, 2003 in Chelan, Washington. Saul was a family man who believed in education and took every opportunity to encourage youth to stay in school and pursue higher education. You can be a part of his dream by assisting students in reaching their highest educational goals.

Las “Becas Saúl Gallegos” promueven la educación y el éxito de nuestra juventud. Saúl Gallegos, un policía, murio cumplimiento su deber el 26 de Junio del 2003, en Chelan, Washington. Saúl era un hombre de familia que promovia la educación y aprovechaba cada oportunidad para motivar a los jóvenes a permanecer en la escuela y cursar estudios superiores. Usted puede ser parte de su sueño apoyando a los estudiantes a alcanzar sus metas de estudios superiores.

Every year, CAFÉ holds a dinner fundraiser for 7 scholarships that will be awarded to graduating high school seniors in the NCW area. Each scholarship is $750 and can be used for tuition or education expenses. We value education and support every student as they enter higher education for the first time - and perhaps, the first in their family!

We have added an 8th scholarship titled the Saúl Gallegos DREAMer's Scholarship ($800 award) that will be awarded for students with a high economic need! Requirements include a family gross income of $30,000 or less and an alternative Personal Essay question.

Cada año, CAFÉ organiza una cena de recaudación de fondos para 7 becas que se otorgarán a graduados de secundaria en el área de NCW. Cada beca es de $ 750 y se puede usar para gastos de matrícula o educación. Valoramos la educación y apoyamos a todos los estudiantes al entrar en la educación superior por primera vez - y tal vez, el primero en su familia!

Saúl Gallegos DREAMer's Scholarship
This scholarship is for low-income families (gross family income is $30,000 or less) and available to all students with a 2.5 GPA or higher entering/enrolled in an accredited COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY full-time.
